The health minister, claimed at a news conference that 70% of the city-5.5 state's million residents have already contracted COVID-19 and that the re-infection rate is currently "extremely low."
Singapore has one of the lowest COVID-19 mortality rates in the world and has vaccinated more than 90% of its population.
