Internal consistency exists throughout the Bible. The Bible was written by 40 distinct authors over the course of 1500 years. Despite the fact that many of them had never met, they wrote with perfect internal consistency, with all of their works flowing in unison.

Is it possible that they were being guided by a divine hand? This is exactly what happened, according to the Bible.: 2 Peter I:21 states “..holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

What every woman should know Truth 3 :

The Bible has survived the test of time. The New Testament of the Bible has about 5800 original Greek manuscripts and over 24,000 total manuscripts, significantly more than any other ancient literature in the world. The Bible has clearly been maintained over the years, as evidenced by the evidence.

The Bible is supported by science and archaeology. Some argue that science and the Bible are at odds, but true science is always in agreement with the Bible. For example, the Bible clearly reveals the shape of the earth in Isaiah 40:22: “It is he that sited upon the circle of the earth.”

Long before scientists new, the Bible revealed that the earth was circular. Did you know that the Bible was the first to teach that air has weight? Job 28:25 states “To make the weight for the winds..

” This groundbreaking discovery took scientists until the early 1600s, decades after the Bible announced it.

What every woman should know Truth 5:

Men have attacked the Bible, but it has survived. The truth of the Bible was shrouded in darkness throughout history’s dark ages. The Bible has been declared illegal!

“We prohibit likewise that the laity should be permitted to hold the books of the Old or New Testament; but we most sternly restrict their having any translation of these writings,” says the Decree of the Council of Townhouse, issued by the heretical church of the time.

The Bible has been set on fire! “No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments in the Romance language,” the Council of Tarragona ruled in 1234.

“If someone does acquire them, he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days following dissemination of this decree, so that they may be burnt.”

Men and women have shed their blood for the Bible that sits on your desk! John Wycliffe, nicknamed the “Morning Star of the Reformation”, was the first to translate the Bible into the English language.

“Wycliffe’s bones were excavated and publicly burned, and the ashes were dumped into the Swift River” as a prize for this noble deed. Many Bible-believing Christians, like William Tyndale, John Huss, and others, faced the same fate.

The Bible has been disparaged! Before his death, French atheist Voltaire said, “One hundred years from today, the Bible will be a forgotten book.” Voltaire’s real home location was utilized to distribute Bibles for the French Bible society 100 years after his death!

John 10:35 clearly states “..The Scripture cannot be broken”. The Bible is the most attacked book in the history of the human race, and It still stands.

What every woman should know  Truth 6:

This sixth point is what genuinely distinguishes the Bible from all other world religions. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. It can be summed up in a single word: prophecy. The ability to hear from God and even anticipate the future with complete precision has been termed as “History Written in Advance.”

This talent is undeniable evidence of heavenly origin. According to J. Barton Payne’s “The Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy,” the Bible contains 1,817 predictions, accounting for around 27% of the total literature.

No other religion in the world even comes close. And it’s understandable: anyone who tries to foretell the future and fails is immediately discredited.

But, the Bible stands alone in it’s ability to accurately tell the future. For a powerful example of an ancient Bible prophecy that came to pass exactly as the Bible predicted, check out the video in the description entitled “Daniel 2: Urgent Bible Prophecy for Today!”.

As another example, let us consider the life of Jesus. There are over 125 prophecies in the Bible’s Old Testament of the coming Messiah – the One who would die for sins of the human race.

Jesus perfectly fulfilled each and every one of these Old Testament prophecies! God knows the end from the beginning.

This separates the God of the Bible from all other gods. Isaiah 46:9-10 declares “..I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done..”

What every woman should know : The History of the Bible

When one of their goats strayed from the herd, believing it had wandered into a cave, one of the Bedouin shepherds tossed a stone to scare the animal out.

The strange sound piqued their interest, and within the young shepherds discovered clay jars containing one of the twentieth century’s most important archeological finds.

The first of the Dead Sea Scrolls, scribbled about 2,000 years ago on durable animal leather coachman with a few written on papyrus, are the oldest biblical manuscripts ever discovered.

They were primarily written in Hebrew from right to left, on sheets that were then sewed together to form a single scroll for safekeeping. Some of them would be encased in tall jars and wrapped in linen.

The Codex eventually supplanted the scroll as the standard format for Christian texts. They were created by folding and stitching papyrus sheets together.

As time progressed, courtesies grew larger and more complicated. During the medieval period, books were hand-copied. Monks spent their days copying Latin and Greek texts while others drew pictures for the pages.

It was a laborious technique that necessitated a high level of expertise and training; to illuminate the text, they employed various colours and goldleaf, and the pages could require hundreds of sheep or calves’ hides. The printing press, however, was the catalyst for the Bible’s movement from the Middle Ages to the early modern era.

This invention revolutionized book production, allowing the Bible to be made available to the masses. It is now the best-selling book of all time, with stories of the creation of the world, Noah’s Ark, and the flood contained inside its pages.

Moses receiving the Ten Commandments, Solomon’s Temple construction, Jesus’ birth, crucifixion, and resurrection. Although a few of the earliest manuscripts investigated so far are entire, the most are either incomplete or fragmented today.

The Holy Spirit arriving to the Apostles and many other biblical episodes are depicted in considerable amounts in 400 of the oldest manuscripts studied so far. Other riches, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, have yet to be discovered, therefore the search for new writings continues.
